Based in the heart of West Yorkshire, The Upper Quartile group Ltd (UQL) was established to support companies create unparalleled teams and helping talented professionals develop and grow in their careers. The reality is that in some cases UQL have been asked to search and select talent to join companies as a result our mission on recruitment is to ensure an intelligence-based approach to the nurturing and identification of professional talent within existing roles and in addition those looking to start new careers.

UQL has an approved membership of talent that by their very definition are the premier league in their field. UQL only accept 1:7 applicants the other six you have probably seen their CVs already. A balance scorecard is available for each member that expands outside of a pure CV this helps align the right member to the right company.
As a consequence of Covid UQL find that many customers have had to realign their roles, teams and structures. This has created the need to understand the new dynamic as to be efficient and agile. UQL understands that there is an abundance of people looking for new jobs. The historic approach on search and selection may well not be relevant within 2021 and beyond as a result UQL have developed a selection only package whereby dialog with HR teams/recruiting managers is opened and candidates that have applied directly reviewed a shortlist produced and degrees of talent identified. This can be extended beyond this point or not to suit the needs of each project.
